S.K. Sha Latta & D. S. Yadav launched Yak Cine Vision studio at Khopoli on Sunday 20th June, under the Yak Group. The other companies of the group are Yak Educational Trust, Yak Maritime Academy, Yak Institute of Management Pvt. Ltd, Yak Diving Academy and Yak Diving Services Pvt. Ltd.
Yak Cine Vision Studio was inaugurated by Tulsi Chaudhary with Raja Chaudhary of Big Boss fame .The studio is spread over a vast land of 25 acres. This is the most suitable location for the producers of Movies, T.V. Serials and Video Albums, to shoot their ambitious projects at single location, on different sets.
Ready for shoot various sets of the studio include swimming pool location, with depth of 22 feet and area of 20-30 meters, fitted with underwater cameras, most suitable for underwater scenes, helipad location with ready helipad available, training classrooms location, with 6 rooms,, office set and also ideal location for hospital, kitchens, dinning rooms, conference halls, hostels and football and basketball ground, beside a water tank 35 feet deep and 2 bungalow, and 125 KV generator set enough to give light or power to entire unit to continue the shooting without the interruption. Affordable charges and special packages are available for producers of regional languages depending on the project, person, and period of the project.
Yak Group was established in 1999 with a vision to provide quality education and training in entire strata of Indian society. Special emphasis is laid to bring forward the backward and poor classes. At the same function the Yak Group announced the approval of their Yak Diving Academy, by IDSA (International Diving School Association of France) and has become the First Commercial Diving training Institute in Asia to get this distinction. The students of this Academy demonstrated their skill by practically doing the underwater welding and repair job. Now the Academy is also offering the courses for professional divers, i.e. underwater cutting, underwater welding, u/w inspection, , u/w diving supervision and u/w salvage. This Academy is headed and handled by Commander Vinod Lok, an ex-Indian Navy specialist. The chairman of the group D.S. Yadav has credit of 27 years experience in Indian Navy and 10 years of experience in International shipping companies on Oil Tankers as Chief Engineer. YAK Group will soon be commencing simulator based training course for “Dynamic Positioning” at it CBD Belapur complex. Dynamic Positioning is a computer based system which is used to maintain a ship in a predetermined position in support of offshore operation such as diving , rig support , ROV operation etc . This training is being conducted for the first time by an Indian Company.
2. Yak Education Trust has been recently awarded CARE Grade I (ONE) Outstanding Maritime Training Institute for conducting GP rating and Deck Cadet Courses.
Whereas the studio is the vision of S.K. Sha Latta, the Writer Director and Producer who is all set to launch his mega historical project 1857 Tatya Tope to be made in 5 languages, most of this film will be shot at this studio for which huge sets will be erected. He has Spent 15 Years Of His Life In The Research Of The Subject, And Has Left No Stone Unturned To Make It Authentic And Historically True. At the same time he is the writer and director of Savitribai Phule (English & Marathi) and Yeh Tera Karam Hai, based on Khawaja Garib Nawaz . He is the man who made his debut with Hollywood film ‘Whom The God Wishes To Destroy’, and is also directing the Hollywood movie ‘The Return Of Christ’. This multi cine craft man with cine vision is always in action.
